“Judy” Judith Mary Demuz

DUMEZ, “Judy” Judith Mary of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late George Dumez (2004). Dear mother of Michael Dumez of Aylmer, Janice Cranston of Caledonia and the late Marlene Dumez (1993). Loving grandmother to Tyler and Max. Sister-in-law of Burnie Reynaert and Vera Reynaert. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank Reynaert (2002) and Robert Reynaert (2018).  Born in Ruddervoorde Belgium on December 28, 1925, daughter of the late Jules Alois and Martha (Pyfferoen) Reynaert. Judy came to Canada in 1926 and settled in Kingsville. She spent most of her life on the family tobacco farm east of Aylmer, which she liked very much. Judy was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the C.W.L. The funeral mass was held on Aug. 29, at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
