Kitty Grant

Grant, Catharina “Kitty” of St. Thomas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was 68 years old. Dear mother of Ryan Grant (Lauren) of Belmont and Michael Grant (Victoria) of Elmira. Loving grandmother of Aurora, Meadow and Harbour. She will be missed by her sisters Anna Liston (Tim), Joan Branje, Jackie Branje (Kelly) and brothers Will Branje (Barb) and Rob Branje Lisa). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on October 12, 1956, daughter of the late Will and Cristina (Van Aarssen) Branje. Kitty was a postal worker for Canada Post for over 30 years. As a devoted centre fielder, Kitty’s energy and joy were unmistakable whenever she stepped onto the diamond. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 7-9:00 p.m. A celebration of Kitty’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12-1:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the East Elgin Community Assistance Program(Corner Cupboard) would be appreciated. Raise a glass in loving memory of Kitty.
