Leonard Durnin

Durnin, William “Leonard” of Aylmer passed away at Chartwell Home, Aylmer on Monday, March 14, 2022 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of late the Mary Durnin(2021). Dear father of Bob Durnin(Tracy), Kathy Robinson(Ivan) and Lori Richardson(Steve). Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by his sister Rhea Dodkin. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Huron County, Ontario on November 15, 1932, son of the late Agnes Durnin. Leonard was a member of the Aylmer Optimist Club. He managed the Dominion Store in Aylmer for many years before finishing his career at the A&P grocery store. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior (Masks are required).
