Liz McKenna
McKenna, Elizabeth “Liz” of Aylmer peacefully went to be with her Lord at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Gardner McKenna. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Angie Scott(Rick) of Aylmer and Tracy Cathers-Hicks(Joe Gale) of Lake City, Florida. Loving grandma of Olivia(David Purnell), Spencer, Miranda Anne(Colton) and Brandon and proud great-grandma of Cohen and Asher. Sister of Ken Campbell(Marilyn), Kathy Pressey(Gary), Martin Campbell, Mary Lou Marr(Bob), Mike Campbell(Barb) and Rose Vaughan(Arnie). She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Strathroy, Ontario on September 16, 1950, daughter of the late Ken and Joyce(Martin) Campbell. Over the years Liz worked at Hutchison Motors, Pryde Pontiac and R&S Pools doing administration and bookkeeping. She was a dedicated member of Dorchester Christian Family Centre. Liz deeply loved her Lord and was devoted to daily prayer, finding strength and peace in her faith every day. A celebration of Liz’s life will take place at a later date.
