Peacefully, at his home in Straffordville, surrounded by his family on Friday, January 2, 2026, Lyle Lemon, passed away at the age of 100 years.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Anna (2022).  Proud and loving father of Cathy Boden (Larry) of Tillsonburg, Bryan Lemon (Brenda) of Waterloo and Robert Lemon (Kathryn) of Straffordville.  Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Lyle (Jessica), Kyle, Rachel (Wilson), Kalina (Doug), Gloria (Olympia), Victoria, Christian, Deborah and great-grandchildren Lily, Dylan, Olivia, Emilia, Isla, Abby, Ezra, Maggie, Henry and Callum.  Lyle is also survived by many nieces and nephews and good friends Dan and Carolyn Murray and Al and Liz Clark all of Straffordville.  Predeceased by his parents Lee and Louise Lemon, and brothers George and Bob.

Family and friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 2:00pm to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service for Lyle will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ted Smith officiating. A spring interment will be held at Kinglake Cemetery.
