Marion Nevill Armstrong

ARMSTRONG – Marion Elaine (nee Anderson) Nevill of Extendicare Home, Port Stanley and long-time resident of St. Thomas passed peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late James Armstrong and the late Ross Nevill. Dearly loved mother of Jim Nevill, Janet DeKeyzer (Bill), Kevin Nevill (late Mona) and the late Judy Trojek (Tom).  Cherished grandmother of Jimmy and Jerry Nevill, Darrell, Jeff, Jason and Adam DeKeyzer, Pamela Cupples, Todd and Trevor Trojek, Michelle Neville, Angela Edwards and Tanya VanPelt. Lovingly remembered by a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her siblings, Bill, Bob and Betty Anderson.

Marion was born in Aylmer on April 18, 1925, daughter of the late Jim and Leone (King) Anderson. Marion ran a retail store in New Sarum for many years and after retirement drove school bus for Lewis Bus Lines. She was a long-time member of Zion Missionary Church and the Shedden Golden Acres card group.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas where funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Aylmer Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada.
