Peter Geraci

Geraci, Peter of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Frances(Balsano) Geraci. Dear father of Frances James(Craig), Mario Geraci(Nancy), Antonia Stafford(Tim), Cathy Dale(Michael) and Lily Geraci(Tom Facchin).  He will be greatly missed by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Saverio, Joe and sisters Grace and Antonina.  Born in Palermo, Sicily on January 13, 1932, son of the late Mariano and Francesca Geraci. Peter was renowned for his charisma and dedication to serving the local community with their Italian cuisine at “Peter’s Pizza”. He warmly welcomed customers, treating them like part of the family. In addition to his culinary talents, Peter found joy in coaching soccer, hunting, traveling, dancing, and making new acquaintances. Even during retirement, he remained a gracious host, opening his doors to friends and family for gatherings. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church, Aylmer on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10am.
