Ron Triebl
Triebl, Ronald Stephen of Aylmer passed away peacefully at the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin with his children by his side on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. He was in his 69th year. Dear father of Blake Triebl (Kristin) and Natalie Cousins (Josh). Also survived by his granddaughters Leah and Sadie and their mother Jen VanDeMaele and granddaughter Maren; brothers John Hartig (late Karen) and Ed Triebl; nephews John (Tammy), Tim (Amy), Justin (Kaitlyn) and Jaryd; nieces Kathy (Chris) Leigh Anne (Nick) and all their families. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on February 18th, 1957, son of the late Jack and Mary(Poschner) Triebl. Ron loved hockey and the fellowship that followed. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Also he loved the outdoors, especially spending Thanksgiving with his life-long friends at the Pickerel River. He was a loyal and dedicated employee of N-J Spivak (later purchased by the John Aarts Group) for 40 years and he greatly admired Nick and Olga Spivak and their grandson Mike. He enjoyed cooking, baking and serving his famous “goose schnitzel.” A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at the Columbus Club, 58 Beech St. W., Aylmer on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 from 1-4pm with words of remembrance at 2pm.
