Sarah Dyck
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sarah Dyck (Teichroeb) in her 71st year. Sarah was a pillar in her community and leaves a void so big that it can only be filled by God. Her love for her family was immense. She loved feeding them and her friends, taking trips, and helping her community of ladies. Her noodle soup is unsurpassed. Her kringle, perfect. Her knowledge of Mennonite genealogy was second to none. She was funny and kind, thoughtful and smart, always welcoming and an incredibly strong woman.
She passed away suddenly at her home in Aylmer on August 6, 2024. She was the beloved wife of (late) Heinrich Dyck (2019), and a loving mother to Jacob (Helena), Abe (Lisa), Henry (Samantha), and Tina Giesbrecht (Scott). She was also a wonderful grandma to Henry, Keri (Dave), Alex, Philip, Savana, Tyler, Jennifer, Jessica, Simon and Noah, and proud great-grandma to Adam.
She will also be dearly missed by so many nieces and nephews, family, friends and her church community.
Sarah was born December 6, 1953 to the late Abraham and Sarah (Wolfe) Teichroeb in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a sister to Elisabeth Friesen, Getruda (Berch) Dyck, Heinrich (Helena) Teichroeb, Anna (Jacob) Redekop, Helena (Heinrich) Siemens and Maria (Johan) Siemens, and is predeceased by siblings Johan, Abram, Agatha.
Rest assured, she is with Jesus whom she steadfastly served all the days of her life.
