KALMAN, Stephen “Steve” passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his residence at R.R.1, Aylmer on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Fasold) Kalman. Dear father of Thomas (Deb Hoffer) of Aylmer, Donna (William Robinson) of Aylmer and James of London. Loving grandfather of Katherine Thompson (Evan), Gillian Hackney (Tyler), Jacqueline, Jamie and Jesse Kalman. Survived by a brother Joseph (late Mary Margaret) and a number of nieces and nephews. Also survived by sisters-in-law Ursula Kietz (Volker) and Elke Janssen (late Hans) all of Germany. Predeceased by sisters Alice (Ed) and Helen and a brother-in-law Werner Fasold (Rosie). Born in Bakonykuti, Hungary on August 12, 1923, son of the late Lawrence and Theresa (Fiedler) Kalman. Steve was a tobacco farmer for many years. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Aug. 31, 2018 at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
