Tjipke “Ray” Kuiper

KUIPER, Tjipke “Ray” of Turkey Point passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 1, 2018.  He was 74.  Beloved husband of Martina (Schroeder) Kuiper. Dear father of Dave Kuiper (Ally) of The Netherlands, Robert Kuiper (Rose Anne) of Ridgetown, Marcel Kuiper (Cherie) of St. Thomas, Alexander Kuiper (Mandy) of Hamilton, Yoani Kuiper (Tessa) of The Netherlands and Maurits Kuiper of Turkey Point. Step-father of Sarah Christin Schoeder Kohnen (Markus) of Germany, Mathias Schroeder (Elke) of Germany. Loving grandfather of Rianna (Anko), Kyra, Tirza, Eva, Rechelle, R.J., D.J., Nadine, Seth, Sherah, Zeke, Eli, Amelie, Mirko, Till and Liam. Brother of Jappie, Frank, Alle-Jan, Sippie and Wilma. Predeceased by his brother Jan.  Born in Oudehorne, Friesland, the Netherlands on October 15, 1943, son of the late David Harm and Akke (Boonstra) Kuiper. Ray worked in construction and was an entrepreneur in the Netherlands and Germany.  Ray will be missed by his friends of the Bayview Restaurant and Variety Store.  The funeral service was held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on September 5, 2018 at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer.  Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.  Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
