Tom Carrel

Carrel, Thomas Edward passed away peacefully at Terrace Lodge on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Muriel(Howe) Carrel of 67 years. Dear father of Bob and Suzanne Carrel. Loving grandfather of Katie Vis(Kevin), Crystal Colley(Jamie), Kim Kremers(Marc), Holly Marr(Tyler) and Heather Carrel(Matt). He will be missed by his great-grandchildren Karson, Kailynn, Klayton, Kaden, Leah, Avery, Haylee, Adrian, Nolan and Luke. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Rosie Firby, brother Jack Carrel and sister-in-law Janet Hiepleh. Born in South Dorchester Twp., Ontario on June 13, 1927, son of the late Edward and Adele(Nant) Carrel. Tom was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed life, whether it be farming and his cattle or coffee with his friends but most of all, his greatest love was his family. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation-burial, Delmer Cemetery.
