Wayne Goddeeris

GODDEERIS, Wayne of Aylmer passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side after a courageous battle with cancer, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Angyal) Goddeeris. Dear father of Naomi MacNaughton (Michael) and Shawn Goddeeris (Meghan Scott). He will be missed by his grandchildren Malachi, Damian, Roman and Sebastian. Brother of Derrick (Diane), Grant (Jean), Rita Kitchen (late Harvey) and Dennis (Joyce) and brother-in-law of Brenda Crooker (Tom).  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Chatham, Ontario on July 4, 1960, son of the late Gilbert and Noella Goddeeris. Wayne was a skilled carpenter. Over the years he worked at Ford in Talbotville, Hunt Windows and later drove for Cole-Munroe Trucking. Wayne was a perfectionist in everything he did and always went above and beyond. He enjoyed fishing, travelling and manicuring his yard. His greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren. Visitation was held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10-11:00 a.m. and the funeral service followed on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
