Wayne Quick

QUICK, Wayne Sidney passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at University Hospital, London.  Wayne was in his 73rd year.

Dear brother of Don Quick of Woodstock, Larry and wife Jane of Walsingham, Murray and wife Margaret of Ingersoll, Sue Boyd of Simcoe and Scott and wife Denise of St. Thomas. Survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Sadie Quick of St. Williams, and brother-in-law Bob Boyd of Port Rowan and sister-in-law Janet (Don) of Tillsonburg.

Wayne was a welder and retired from Steelway Industries in 2019 where he had made many good friends.  Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman and a Toronto Blue Jays fan.  He enjoyed riding his bike around the town of Aylmer and stopping by to visit friends in the local Tim’s, the Aylmer Legion, as well as watching local ball games.  Wayne was always a happy positive soul and lived a simple small town life.

Relatives and friends will be received at J.W. Glendinning Funeral Home, Port Rowan on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  The funeral is on July 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clark Chapel at the funeral home. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
