William “Robert” Walters

Walters – William “Robert” passed away on Thursday, February 17th, 2022 at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital at the age of 83. Bob is survived by his loving wife Helen “Jeanette” (Campbell) and by their children; Robert J. (Mary Ann), Dana Thibaudeau and Denise Walters, grandchildren Melissa Walters (Grant) and their daughters Harlow and Ruby; Robert Walters (Laura) and their daughters Lola, Peri and Gemma; Lindsay Thibaudeau (Tim); Cory Thibaudeau (Avalon) and their son Lincoln. Dear brother of Mary McQuiggan and R.G “Steve” Walters (Betty). Bob was born in St. Thomas on November 23rd, 1938, son of the late William and Bessie (Dancey) Walters. Bob retired from Vandenbrink Farm Equipment Ltd. He was a long-time active member of Knox Presbyterian Church, member of the Session, the Mens’ Brotherhood and the Foodgrains Committee.
A private funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Thursday afternoon. Full vaccination is required to attend the service. Cremation to follow with entombment of ashes in South Park Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Rodney Outreach and Scholarship Fund or Knox Presbyterian Church.
