Darren Stafford

Darren Allen Stafford, 57 of Aylmer passed away on February 26, 2024, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, with his family by his side. He will be dearly missed by wife Katherine and children Kevin (Mikayla), Terri-Lynn (Steven), Wesley, Riley and by his granddaughter Scarlet. Survived by his parents Betty-Jean and Jim Stafford, siblings Ron (Teresa), Lori (Kevin) and Jason (Gail), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by grandparents Roy and Betty-Jean Morse and Clarke and Leona Stafford. He will also be dearly missed by his cat Nola and dog Mylah.

Darren loved the outdoors and wildlife. Springwater Conservation Area was one of his favourite places to walk with his wife and their kids. Road trips were one of his favourite things to do, driving to the lake and taking the backroads home. He loved hockey, baseball and all racing, especially NASCAR. Competitive racing on Nintendo Mario Kart against his kids was a treasured pastime for him. A music trivia fan with percussion interests, his favourite band was AC/DC.

Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
