Noreen June (Laur) Kershaw

Kershaw, Noreen June (November 1, 1933 – August 28, 2022) –
It is with sadness, that we the Kershaw family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, Noreen June Kershaw (Laur), at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on August 28th, 2022, at the age of 88. Noreen was a lifelong resident of Tillsonburg, most recently at Maple Manor, and for many years resided at 5 Lamers Ct., Tillsonburg, and formerly of the Courtland area. Noreen above all else, loved her children, was always so proud to support and encourage her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and cherished her many lifelong friendships.
Noreen was the devoted and loving mother of six children and their partners: Linda Dawson (Murry), of Culloden; Debra Herron (Ross, 2017), of Tillsonburg; Sharon Moore (Rick), of Tillsonburg; Becky Kershaw (Shayne Sutherland, 2011), of Tillsonburg; Brian Kershaw, of Ottawa; and Patrick Kershaw, of London. Always a proud and caring grandmother to: Jodi Donck (James), of Courtland; Brea Sweet (Ed), of London; Jacquie DeMoor (Jeff), of St. Thomas; and Katelyn McCusker (Joey), of Tillsonburg. Also survived by her sister Violet Kinsella, of London, as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents John Laur and Alice Laur (Stinson); four siblings Edna Betler, Edith Phillion, Myrtle Laur, Robert Laur, and by her special grandson David Moore (1993).
All who knew Noreen were invited to attend a public visitation on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A public memorial service to celebrate Noreen’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 31st, at 3:00 p.m. in the Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg, by Worship Leader Derrick Drover, from St. Paul’s United Church, Aylmer. Inurnment will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
