Port Bruce beach gets makeover
A group of about 30 local re
sidents, cottagers, Ontario Parks staff and East Elgin Secondary School Environmental Leadership Program students participated in a beach restoration project at Port Bruce Provincial Park on Thursday, Oct. 22. The group spent about four hours planting native grasses and installing barrier fencing while removing invasive plant species and garbage.
