Celebrating the harvest at the library

Library assistant Christi Fraser, right, read a series of stories to about 20 children during the Harvest Story Time event at Aylmer Old Town Hall Library on Tuesday evening, Oct. 25. The family-orientated event included the story telling along with fall-themed crafts, games, snacks and a special visit by “Farmer Dick.” Berry Hill Fruit Farm’s Dick Saarloos brought some apples with him and told the youngsters about his vegetable and fruit farm and market operation which is located north of Aylmer on Glencolin Line west of Imperial Road.
