Ringing in Aylmer Baptist Church’s 200th anniversary

“Grand” Kids Choir members Tyler Welch, left, Emma Bowen, Rilyn Deutsch, Carter Deutsch, Malcolm Travis, Lillie O’Reilly, Claire Bowen, Amber Goodall and Abby Goodall performed Happy Birthday and If You’re Happy and You Know It during the 200th anniversary service at Aylmer Baptist Church on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. Neil Whyte, Aylmer Baptist Church’s music director, was seen in behind the choir members at right. After the service, the congregation and special guests, including former Pastor Rev. Das Sydney who was the featured speaker, enjoyed an anniversary lunch. An open house featuring historical displays of the church was held Saturday afternoon, Oct. 29.
