Trick-or-treat?

Darrin Whaley dressed up as Green Lantern, middle, handed out candy to “Stormtrooper” Evan Lemko, 7, while he was trick-or-treating along South Street West in Aylmer on Halloween evening, Monday, Oct. 31. Mr. Whaley’s wife Denise (in the red mask at right) and her daughter Hayden Sprague (dressed up as the main character from the video game Alice: Madness Returns) watched on the right. Mrs. Whaley and her family went all out this year decorating the front lawn, porch and driveway for Halloween with a graveyard theme. The family started the Halloween decorations two weeks before Halloween and Mrs. Whaley said she spent about two hours a day on creative projects. The mild weather conditions were ideal for the trick-or-treaters that night.
