High winds send waves crashing onto Port Bruce beach
High winds from the southwest sent two to three metre high waves crashing onto the end of the Port Bruce pier and adjacent beach on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23. Catfish Creek Conservation Area had earlier in the day warned of winds of up to 55 kilometres per hour, which could potentially push lake water into low-lying areas of Port Bruce. The warning is in effect until Friday, Oct. 25. (AE/Rob Perry)
