Aylmer Novice Rep finish second in tourney

Aylmer Novice Rep hockey player Dylan Rempel tried to pass the puck to a teammate in front of the opposition’s net during his team’s second game of the annual April Rep tournament hosted by the Aylmer Minor Hockey Association at East Elgin Community Complex on Friday morning, April 3. Aylmer won that game 7-3 over the Baltimore Ice Dogs but lost the championship final to the same team (from the Cobourg area) 7-2 on the following day. Aylmer won their first game on Thursday night 5-0 over Dorchester and beat South Kent 7-3 in the semi-final on Saturday. The tournament marked the last games of the season for most hockey teams participating.
