Bob (Abraham) DeKraker

On Monday July 20th 2020, our dad Bob (Abraham) DeKraker peacefully left this earth and went to be with his Heavenly Father, where he joined those who have gone before him. There to greet dad will be our mom Ann (April 2016) his parents Abraham and Maria, his brothers John and Case, and his sister Corrie Hulst. Dad left behind a large and loving family who cherished the time they were able to spend with him the last few months through visits, phone calls and video calling. Dad will be missed by his wife Anne Sterken. We, his children will mourn the loss of our dad but rejoice that he is at peace and his journey on earth is finished. Dad was a quiet man who gave of himself to many organizations throughout the years. He was a faithful and active member of Aylmer Full Gospel Church where he found a loving church family. He and mom made several trips to Honduras in support of Jericho Ministries where they helped in many ways and grew to love the local people and the project. Dad did many things throughout his life including driving bus and serving as the custodian at Immanuel Christian School where he could be involved in the lives of the students. He also drove limo for many years and enjoyed interacting with his passengers.

Dad loved his roses and lilies and won several awards throughout the years at the garden show at the Aylmer Fair. He earned the certification of Master Gardener. He spent time doing woodworking building toys for grandchildren, bird houses and screen doors. Dad enjoyed playing games, especially a good card game and spent many enjoyable hours playing with friends and family. The last couple of years saw dad and Anne spending time at Tim Hortons with their friends for the afternoon coffee group. Dad loved attending concerts, especially Gospel and Praise music. We are certain there will be great music in Heaven. You will be missed dad, love you always.
