EESS boys win Southeast hockey quarterfinal

East Elgin Secondary School celebrated their win at the end of Game 2 of a Thames Valley Southeast quarterfinal series at Timken Centre in St. Thomas, Wednesday, Feb. 12. EESS won Game 1 handily two days earlier, 5-1, but struggled in the second encounter with PCI. The two were tied 2-2, and appeared to be headed to a third game, when Garrett Hickey scored for EESS to secure the series. East Elgin advances to semifinal action next week.
