Yurek expects late May election

Elgin-Middlesex-London MPP Jeff Yurek told an audience of service club members in Aylmer Thursday, March 6, that a provincial election would probably be called for late May.

He expected the election would be triggered as the result of a coming budget from the Liberal minority government being voted down after Easter by a combination of his Progressive Conservative colleagues and New Democratic Party MPPs, unless the Liberals could swing a deal for the backing of the NDP.
