Residents have their say on Complex review
Several local residents including representatives of the main user groups of the facility had their say about the operational review of East Elgin Community Complex during a public participation meeting held there on Thursday, April 24.
The large meeting room was packed to capacity for the over hour and a half long meeting hosted by the Aylmer-Malahide Liaison Committee.
After everyone who wanted to speak had their opportunity, Malahide Mayor Dave Mennill, the chairman of the meeting, said the next step was for the liaison committee to meet again as soon as possible to review the comments and the 22 recommendations within the LeisurePlan International operational review.
Councillors reviewed their schedules and set the next meeting for 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9 at Old Town Hall Theatre in Aylmer.
