Danielle Decoopman

August 31, 1939 – December 24, 2025

Danielle Barbara Theresa (Stockmans) Decoopman, passed away peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025, at the age of 86 after a courageous struggle with dementia. Danielle was born in Belgium, to Margaret and Alphonse Stockmans. Danielle was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and a Lifetime Member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s League, Langton. For many years, alongside her much-loved husband of 65 years, Ronald Decoopman, they farmed tobacco and cash crops in the Langton area. Danielle was also a former committee member with the Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers’ Marketing Board. Above all else, Danielle was always a dedicated and much-loved wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Dearly missed by her husband Ron and their children: Debra (Fred Bozso), of Aylmer; Ron (Jackie) Decoopman, of Langton. Always a caring Grandmother to Kristy (Matt Babb) and Morgan Bozso, and Great Grandmother to Reese and Paige. Predeceased by her much loved Grandson Ryon Decoopman (2017).

In keeping with Danielle’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends, former neighbours and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 6th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 24 Albert Street, Langton, by Rev. Fr. Seejo John. Interment follows in Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Langton. All funeral attendees are invited to join the Decoopman family for a CWL-prepared luncheon, immediately following interment, in the Langton Community Center (28 Albert St., Langton). Everyone who knew Danielle is invited to share favourite memories, photos, personal condolences. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated via Danielle’s online tribute page or by contacting the Maurice J.
