Peacefully with family at his side, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, past on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in his 90th year. Loving father of Sharon Wilson and her husband Rick, of Aylmer; Gwen Sanders, of Woodstock; Dawn Marie Romard and her husband Gord, of St. Catherines; David Sanders and his wife Ina, of Woodstock; Cynthia Sanders and her friend Rob, of Woodstock; and Chris Sanders and his wife Melanie, of Woodstock. Cherished by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by his sisters Katherine Abraham and her husband Lyle, Viola Nagtzaam, Margaret Elliott, extended family and will be missed by many friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Charlotte and H. Ross Sanders, brothers Bill, Charlie, Doug, brother-in-law Graham Elliott, and his wife Wanda Karn. Family will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, for a private family service. Donations in memory of Don, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
