Rick Prong

Prong, Rick of Aylmer passed away peacefully with his family by his side at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was 75 years old. Beloved husband of Marilyn(Heffren) Prong. Dear father of Ryan Prong(Lindsay), the late Rob Prong(2007) and Brandie Parent-Quinn(Brian). Loving grandfather of Daniel, Gavin, Brandon, Keira, Aaron and Cooper. Brother of Vicki Hull(Wil), Mike Prong and Ted Brisseau(Carol). Brother-in-law of Marianne Howe(Jim) and Susanne Heffren. He will also be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Woodstock, Ontario on May 15, 1951, son of the late Jack and Bette(Hay) Prong.

After graduating from high school, Rick’s first job was with Harold Row & Sons. Rick later worked at  Shackelton Auctions for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors fishing and golfing. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 5-8:00 p.m. The celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow at the Aylmer Royal Canadian Legion.
