Sally Epple

Epple, Sally Lynn (Loucks) passed away, peacefully, at VON Sakura House Hospice, Woodstock, our much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Sally Lynn (Loucks) Epple, a resident of Hickory Hills, Tillsonburg, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in her 77th year. Sally was born in Tillsonburg, daughter of the late Norman and Bertha (LaForge) Loucks.

Sally will be remembered as the former proprietor of “Sally’s Beauty Salon” in Port Burwell. In 1968, Sally married the love of her life Ed Frank Epple, of Tillsonburg. Together they raised a beautiful family; they also enjoyed camping and travelling. Sally enjoyed gardening, playing board games and playing cards with family and friends.

Lovingly remembered by her husband Ed and their children: Darrell (Tina) Epple, of Port Burwell; Reuben (Tammy) Epple, of St. Thomas; and Melanie Epple, of Port Burwell. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. Also survived by her in-laws Marlaine Epple, Barbara Wiebe and Mike Epple. Predeceased by her sister Anna Brooks and her in-laws Albert, Freida, Bill and Bruce.

In keeping with Sally’s expressed wishes, a private family funeral service will be held by Rev. Larry Edwards, of Trinity Anglican Church. Interment follows in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Port Burwell.
