Ann Hiemstra
Hiemstra, Ann of Aylmer passed away into glory to be with her Lord and Savior with her family by her side at her residence on Friday, February 21, 2025 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Henry Hiemstra. Dear mother of Terry Hiemstra(Freda) of Brownsville, Chris Hiemstra(Christy) of Aylmer, and Wendy Dieleman(Sam) of London. Cherished grandmother of Joanna, April(Cam), Gwen, John, Justin(Jess), Caitlyn(Tyler), late Jordan(2016), Hannah, Jude, Jeremiah and Timoteo. Great-grandmother of Maya, Eloise and Madeleine. She will be missed by her brother Bill Jonkers(Gertie) and sister Tina Daling(Ralph). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Assen, The Netherlands on March 13, 1944, daughter of the late Arend and Tina(Rieber) Jonkers. Ann taught at Immanuel Christian School. She alongside her husband Henry founded Clovermead Apiaries. Ann was a member of Bethel United Reformed Church. Visitation will be held at the Bethel United Reformed Church on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 3:00-6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bethel United Reformed Church on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow Aylmer Cemetery.
