Dave Roberts

Roberts, David of Sparta passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was 78 years old. Beloved husband of Marie (Bond) Roberts. Dear father of Elena Roberts, Darryl Roberts and Emily Glover (Adam). Loving grandfather of Alan, Justin and Ethan. Brother of Evangeline Little (Ray) and brother-in-law of Alice Goodall. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Marietta Roberts and his brother Thomas Roberts (Valerie). Dave was born in St. Thomas on November 28, 1947, son of the late Thomas Yarwood Roberts and Mary Marguerite (Lamb) Roberts. He was a lifelong dairy farmer and resident of Sparta. Dave enjoyed the sugar bush and making maple syrup. A private family service will be held. Donations to Agriculture Wellness Ontario (mental health needs for Ontario’s agricultural community.)
