Denise Vansevenant

Vansevenant, Denise of Dorchester Terrace and long-time resident of Aylmer passed away at London Health Science Centre-Victoria Hospital on Sunday, June 9, 2024 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Vansevenant(2021). Dear mother of Gary(late Debbie) and Danny(Terri). Loving grandma of Kaylie(Kory), Morgan(Jake), Renee(Jon), Samantha(John) and great-grandma of Kiptyn, Kash, Lekci and Nora. Sister of Marcella. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Torhout, Belgium on February 28, 1933. Denise and Daniel came to Canada in 1956 and grew tobacco for many years. The Vansevenant family were a true “hockey family.” Denise and Daniel were always at the arena supporting and cheering on their grandchildren. Denise took great pride hosting and preparing amazing meals for her family on all occasions.We will miss her raisin buns and lukken cookies. Denise was a faithful member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Aylmer Area Community Foundation or BAD Girls Hockey would be appreciated.
