Joan Hobbs

Hobbs, Joan Rosemary beloved wife of the late Bob Hobbs, passed away at Mount Hope on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the age of 101. Mother of Wendy Watters(Pat), Lorrie Bouchard(Mark) and Gary Hobbs(Heather). Grandmother of Nicole Wise(Jon), Pamela Regier(Adam), Angela Campbell(Scott), Cindy Chan(Jeremy), Scott Bouchard(Sarah) and Stephanie Hobbs. Also survived by her brother Don(late Muriel) and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by granddaughter Diane Bouchard, siblings Ivy Pincombe(late Jack), Tom(late June, late Patricia), Bert(late Eileen), Jack(late Dora) and infant sister Grace.

Joan was a faithful and long-standing member of Trinity Anglican Church. She was also a founding member of the Aylmer Corner Cupboard. She also volunteered for the March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital tuck & gift shop and the Canadian Cancer drives.

Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment- Aylmer Cemetery.
