ROBERT “BOB” CSINOS
September 30, 1949 – November 4, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Csinos of Vienna, age 74, at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on November 4th, 2023. Bob was born in Tillsonburg and lived his whole life in the Vienna, Port Burwell area.
He loved being a farmer. He was a jack-of-all-trades – he could fix anything! He always took great pride in working the fields on the family farms and growing tobacco, beans and grain crops until he fully retired in 2018.
Bob loved to play golf, fish and travel. He cherished all our group family holidays together throughout Ontario cottage country, and beyond. He instilled great work ethics into his children and encouraged them to follow their dreams towards great happiness and success.
Best friend and devoted husband of Jo-Anne (Crossett) Csinos for 53 years. Very proud and ever loving father and Papa to Chris (Carrie) Csinos and their children Regan and Owen of Brantford, Brian (Ashley) Csinos and their children Tyler and Leah of Newmarket, Mark (Nicole) Csinos of East Gwillimbury and Sandy (Adam) Teeple and their son Griffin of Cambridge.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Barb (1998) and John Sr. (2002) Csinos, his mother and father -in-law Kaye (1984) and Carl (1995) Crossett and his brother-in-law Larry (2023) Crossett.
He is survived by his brother John Jr. (Fran) Csinos, sister-in-law Marilyn Crossett and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and at his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Csinos family.
