Norma Vandevyvere

Vandevyvere, Norma Ruth of St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer passed away at London Health Science Centre-University on Saturday, August 22, 2026. She was 86 years old. Beloved wife of the late Waite Malskaitis, and the late Peter Vandevyvere. Dear mother of Kim Carson(Jackie) and Joe Malskaitis(Lichelle) and mother-in-law of Dianne Malskaitis and step-mother of Nancy Spriet( Leon) of Langton and David Vandevyvere of Tillsonburg. Sister of Len Miners, sister-in-law of Jim McConnell and George Catherwood. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Chris Malskaitis(2025), Waite Malskaitis(2026), sisters Carol Catherwood and Linda McConnell. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on July 22, 1940, daughter of the late Stuart and Beatrice(Pratt) Miners. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul’s United Church would be appreciated.
