Giesbrecht, Bernardo “Ben” of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 1, 2020 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Mary (Dyck) Giesbrecht. Dear father of Benny (Martha), Frank(Tina), Henry(Lisa), Hans(Mary) and Bobby(Toniette). Loving grandfather of Jarred, Darrin, Brendan, Alexander, Simone, Colton, Caitlin, Olivia, Emily, Curtis, Adam, Clarissa, Tyler, Felix, Blythe, Eloise, Charlotte and Fiona. Brother of Sara and Maria. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jacob, Peter, Cornelius, David, Abram and sisters Katharina, Anna, Susanna and Margaret. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on May 26, 1940, son of the late Peter and Anna (Peters) Giesbrecht. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the funeral or visitation must call the funeral home at (519 773 8400) to register. The visitation will be at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday afternoon and the funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00pm (masks are required).
