John Ungar

Ungar, John of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Monday, April 29, 2019 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Rose (Nasswetter) Ungar. Loving father of Bill Ungar (Jeannette) of Aylmer, Robert Ungar of Toronto, Arnold Ungar (Rowena) of Aylmer and Helen Allen (Ted) of Montreal. Loving Opa of Tom (Natasha), Nathan, Stephanie, Jason, Darren (Chelsea), Jackie, Johnathan, Ramone, Robert, Jack, Benjamin, Cole and Hanna. Old Opa to Briar and Jude. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Katharina Theissler, Heather Theissler (Martin) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Michael T. Ungar (Theresa), sister Maria Valdars (Joseph). Born in Billak, Romania on December 3, 1935, son of the late John and Maria Ungar. John was a member of Malahide Fire Dept. #1, St. John’s Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at  11 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the St. John’s Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
