Ronald Flick

Flick, Ronald passed peacefully Monday, December 28, 2020 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, in his 84th year. Ron is survived by Marg Flick and their children Kim Nelham (Steve), Randee Hooghiem (Al), Sherry Flick-McLean (Howard), and Jason Flick (Deb Naczynski). Devoted Pap to the grandchildren he lovingly nicknamed Chrissy (James), Chubbs (Adam), Goob (Jake), Stretch, Cricket, Birdie (Ashlee), Tex (Sara), Screech (Jacob), Queenee, Sprout, Squeaky, and Tiger, as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother John Flick (Mary), sister Eva Schaafsma (Andy), and predeceased by brothers William and Rodney. Born in Holland on April 23, 1937. Ron immigrated to Ontario with his family in 1949, spending the majority of his life in Aylmer. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place with hopes to bring his ashes to his beloved Port Burwell. In lieu of flowers, donations to Destination Church in St. Thomas would be appreciated.
