Tyler Michael Kaastra

Kaastra, Tyler Michael of Aylmer passed away peacefully at London Health Science Centre- Victoria Hospital on Friday, October 30, 2020 after a short but relentless battle. He was 20. Loving son of Ray Kaastra and Lois Hardman (Grant). Beloved brother of Erin (Matt VanOverloop) and stepbrother of Tammy Carriere and David Hardman. Dear grandson of Jennie Kaastra. Predeceased by his grandparents Sid (Tjeerd) Kaastra (2018), Ann Swim (2010) and Ron Swim (2014). Born in London, Ontario on August 13, 2000.  From the onset, Tyler battled to live his life on his terms and was determined to make the most out of every moment. His strength and perseverance was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his chocolate lab, Lincoln and his good buddies. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He loved his pick-up truck and bonfires. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation or funeral may call the funeral home at 519-773-8400 (Masks are required). Visitation at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday starting at noon. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Monday, November 2, 2020. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
