William “Bill” Legg

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Bill” Legg announces his passing on Monday, January 27, 2020 in his 82nd year. Bill passed peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital with family by his side. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Francis Legg (Reid). Also survived by 5 sons Dan Legg (Tamara), Kevin Legg (Patti), Randy Legg (Lynda), Donny Legg (Carrie), and Jim Legg (Kimberley). Also sisters Jean, Helen, and Marylou, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Duncan Legg. Bill worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. Bill enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and horseshoes. The family will be having a celebration of life for Bill on February 29, 2020 from 12pm – 4pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall 58 Beech St. Aylmer, ON. They ask that any donations go to the charity of your choice.
