WOON, Rev. Jean Ann

The family wishes to announce the passing of Rev. Jean Ann Woon, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Jean was a loving wife and best friend to the late Ted (2017). Caring and supportive mother to Jonathan Cone and his wife Kat, of Tillsonburg; Alix Young and her husband Bill, of Tillsonburg. Step-mother to David and his wife Chrissie of Newmarket; Tim and his partner Jenn of Woodstock; Taryn Roberts and her husband Dan of Caledonia. Grandmother to Samantha; Tyler; Danny; and Chelsea, Connor; Madison; Reece; Jaxon; Bayley; Sierra; Quinn. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Harriet Gantz. Jean had her Degree in Zoology, but later in life went back to school to get her Bachelor Degree and ended up receiving it with distinction for Theology. Friends and relatives will be received at Trinity Anglican Church, 25 Pitt St., Port Burwell, Ontario, on Saturday, January 6 from 10 – 11 a.m. The Memorial Service for Jean will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kendall Reimer-Johnston officiating. Internment will be held at the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Port Burwell, followed by a celebration of Jean’s life.
