Juniors fall in WOSSAA bid

Tim Nanephosy of East Elgin Secondary School’s Junior boys basketball team shot for the Medway Secondary School hoop during the WOSSAA “AAA” championship final in London, Monday, Feb. 24. The Juniors got off to a slow start, dropping behind 17-39 by half-time. But they stormed back in the second half, narrowing the scoring gap to as little as five points in the fourth quarter. The game wasn’t decided until the last two minutes, and Medway ended up on top 62-55.
