Sunny day for soccer

Ryan Herries of host East Elgin Secondary School hustled the ball up the pitch to score in a game against Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute at a 16-team tournament at Columbus Park south of Aylmer, Thursday, April 24. EESS split its squad in two for the tournament. Senior players defeated Ingersoll 3-2, lost to Clarke Road 2-3, and bested West Elgin Secondary School 5-1. A junior team defeated Glencoe 2-0 and Woodstock College Avenue 1-0 before falling to London Medway 1-2.
