Larry Kellington
Kellington, Larry William of Springfield passed away with family by his side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was 78 years old. Beloved husband of Bonnie(Dick) Kellington. Dear father of Tammy Beaulieu (Sylvain) of St. Thomas, Steve Kellington (Nicole) of St. Thomas and Sheri Kellington (Joe) of New Brunswick. Loving grandfather of Tyler, Sylvie, Kali, Devon, Brynlee, Linkin, David and Melody. Brother of Kevin (Rose), Brian(Jan) and Murray(Stephanie) and brother-in-law of Don (Jacklin). He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Joyce and his brother Bob. Born in Brussels, Ontario on March 27, 1947, son of the late Bill and Gertrude Kellington. Larry retired from Elgin Motor Freight. He was a member of the St. John’s United Church in Springfield and longtime volunteer for 24 years on the Springfield Fire Department. Larry will be remembered for his commitment to the community whether he was mowing the lawn for neighbours or the church or coaching baseball; he was always giving of his time. He was an active member of the IOOF Lodges in Springfield, Belmont and Harrietsville. He was a past District Deputy of Ark Lodge 404 in Springfield. An Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home March 20, 2026 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
