m East Elgin Secondary School received a crash course in orienteering by Catfish Creek Conservation Authority Conservation Areas Supervisor Ed Pietrzak at Springwater on Thursday afternoon, May 14. Almost 160 Grade 9 geography students participated in the field trip to Springwater Conservation Area and engaged in four educational and fun stations: orienteering, geocaching, nature hike and water sampling.
