Periscope Playhouse’s new venue ready soon

Periscope Playhouse assistant producer and grant facilitator Leslie Chilcott took a much deserved break in one of the newly installed stadium-style seats at the community theatre’s new venue in Port Burwell on Saturday, May 28. Ms. Chilcott was one of several volunteers who were continuing the renovations on the former Scouting hall at 42 Wellington Street in Port Burwell that day so that the facility will be ready to welcome patrons for the new live theatre season that is set to begin with the preview of the comedy 37 Postcards on Thursday, June 9 at 8 p.m. For more information on Periscope Playhouse’s new season, visit www.periscopeplayhouse.ca.
