EPCOR to acquire NRG

EPCOR Utilities, headquartered in Edmonton, announced on Wednesday, Nov. 16 that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Natural Resource Gas (NRG) of Aylmer.

NRG is the natural gas company serving over 8,000 customers in Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford and Norfolk counties including Aylmer, Belmont and all of Malahide and Bayham.

The sale is subject to Ontario Energy Board approval.
