Marion Silverthorn
SILVERTHORN, Marion of St. Thomas, and formerly of Aylmer and Kincardine, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Caressant Care Bonnie Place, St. Thomas on Thursday, August 27, 2020. She was 100 years old. Be-loved wife of the late Chester “Chet” Silverthorn (1996). Dear mother of Charles Silverthorn (Marie) of London, Bob Silverthorn of St. Thomas and Linda Orrett (Glen) of Ma-doc. Mother-in-law to Gail Silverthorn (Bill Cooke) of St.Thomas. Also survived by her sister June, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Graham “Rudy” Silverthorn (1989) and her grandson, Todd (1958). Marion loved playing cards and happy hour. Her greatest joy was her family and friends and she loved having family reunions both at the dairy farm in Kincardine and her home on John Street South in Aylmer. Marion’s had many cherished memories with Jim and Audrey Timpany. Born in Bryon, Ontario on October 15, 1919, daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Finch) Graham. Cremation has taken place.
